Become a member of Alumni UNIGE

Are you a former student of the University of Geneva, where you experienced unforgettable moments? Does the university hold strong memories for you? Would you like to maintain a connection with the university?

All graduates of the University of Geneva can become members of our association, provided that they are no longer enrolled at the university and have obtained a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, advanced master’s degree, doctorate or a diploma certifying continuing education with at least 30 ECTS credits.
Note that alumni from the Graduate Institute (former IHEID) are also welcome.

The membership fee is CHF 50 per year.
Graduates living abroad (with the exception of neighboring France) and young graduates from the previous year are exempt from the membership fee.

Form

  • Please make sure you have spelled your email address correctly, as we won’t be able to sign you up and send you information without it.
  • We don’t accept @etu.unige.ch email addresses.
  • If your first or last name has changed since you graduated, please indicate your name at the time of graduation under “birth name”.

Preferential rates

On top of the UNIGE and Alumni services you get access to, you can also enjoy preferential rates on a range of third-party products and services.

Become an Associate Member

If you do not meet the criteria for ordinary membership but have a keen interest in our Association and the University of Geneva, you can submit a written application to become an Associate Member of Alumni UNIGE. Former or current teaching staff, as well as exchange students, may be admitted as associate members. Please note that all applications will be subject to the approval of the Executive Committee.

Fees

The fee is CHF 50.00 per calendar year.

The fee is waived for graduates living abroad (with the exception of neighboring France) and young graduates from the previous year.

Your support matters

While Alumni UNIGE is closely linked to and supported by the University of Geneva, it is a private, not-for-profit organization. To ensure its sustainability, the association must secure its own financial resources. That is why, at our annual general meeting in 2009, we decided to introduce a fee.

We wish to thank you for your valuable support.

Invoices for membership fees are sent to you by email in January.
