To strengthen our Group Corporate Affairs and Communications department, we are looking for a:
MEDIA & PR MANAGER
ROLE
- Support and coordinate External Communications activities for global projects and deployments, with particular focus on the Africa region
- Create content and materials for external communications to ensure a consistent message to the media and other external stakeholders
- Monitor and manage media relations initiatives
- Support the promotion of strategic projects such as the Campus for the Economy of Trust
Profil demandé:
PROFILE
- Master’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, International Affairs or equivalent
- Minimum 5 year’s relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to research and collate disparate sources of information to produce compelling story lines
- Good storyteller, able to draft effectively in English in styles attractive to different media environments
- Experience of dealing with journalists, the media and PR agencies, ideally in an international context, would be useful
- Project management experience an advantage
- Fluent (likely mother tongue) English; ability to work effectively in German desirable; working level in French a plus
- Proactive, flexible, able to take initiative with good analytical skills
- High level interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team
- Comfortable with the ambiguity of a matrix organisation
